You don't have to know the all answers, but let's start with making a plan!
Your first step is to start looking at different careers that align with your interests. You don't have to choose one career or even one career cluster; looking at the career pathways you may want to consider can set you up for success later down the road. Waynesboro Public Schools offers many avenues to begin this exploration.
See Mrs. Wood's webpage for more info on College & Career Planning
You can meet with the Career Coach, Mrs. Wood anytime during your High School career to discuss your plan.
Most high schoolers don't know what they want to do "when they grow up" and that is ok! High school is a great time to take some steps to prepare for your future. Most people need some preparation before they are ready for the workforce, and planning should begin long before it’s time to start a career. This could include taking technical or college courses during high school or, after graduating, attending a college or university to earn a certificate or a degree. Knowing what type of career preparation you need begins with thinking about what type of career you want. See below for resources for lots of different career pathways.
