- Sophomores & Juniors: The application for Valley Career & Technical Center for 2021-22 is open. Ms. Pultz from VCTC had a virtual visit with us and below is the recording. Lots of good info, so please watch it. Please contact your counselor or Mrs. Wood with questions.

- Are you planning to apply to BRCC or using it as a backup plan? Be sure to apply to BRCC and apply for BRCC Scholarships by February 15 so you will receive priority eligibility for College Scholarship Program. Make an appointment with me if you need help.

- Are you interested in becoming a pilot? The Virginia Space Grant Consortium is offering Free Pilot Training. You must be 16 years old by June 21 and have a 3.0 GPA. https://vsgc.odu.edu/pathwaysflightacademies/
- Are you interested in Engineering, Drafting, CAD operations? Did you know that you can receive a Career Studies Certificate from BRCC in Computer Aided Drafting by taking specific courses here at WHS? See your counselor.
- JUNIORS/RISING SENIORS:: Are you planning on an Associates Degree at BRCC after graduation? There are several programs eligible for Career Pathways Academy. You can take classes senior year at BRCC for FREE if you qualify for this program. Deadline is March 5, 2021. Contact Mrs. Wood
- JUNIORS/RISING SENIORS: Blue Ridge Community College, in partnership with the University of Virginia, is offering high schoolers the opportunity to explore careers in Advanced Manufacturing, while also earning as many as 13 college credits.
